下列都是離開香港之前應該要準備好的事項
- 保留原來的電話號碼以便可以網上處理香港原來的各種帳戶
- 需要預早尋找一個合適的 plan，可以保留而價格低的 phone plan
- 注意呢個新 plan 可以怎樣續期
- 注意需要 support 到兩張 sim 卡嘅電話，或者一個舊嘅後備電話
- 因為要轉 plan 或者 service provider，都需要預早安排
The most important is coverage of data usage. While landing in UK especially for the first few days, communication is important for security, navigation, searching for needs, etc. Have a SIM already available upon landing at the UK airport will solve a lot of such problem.
If possible, coverage for 1 month is good. But if not, a minimum coverage of 7 days would be recommended.
Good to have a dual-SIM phone ready, one for the new UK SIM card, and one for the original HK SIM card.
